problem #2

Grand Cherokee 4WD 4.7L 8 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 156,000 miles

I have had this Jeep for 4 years and nearly the whole time I have had this problem of during the day the brake light either works or is very diim. Then when the headlights are turned on the drivers side brake light doesn't work. I have changed bulbs on multiple occasions and nothing has fixed the issue. I have been pulled over because of this and I have had no one who could explain or fix the issue. I love my Jeep but this problem is getting very annoying and the cops aren't going to keep letting me go even after I show them that the light works when the headlights aren't on. There needs to be a recall or something to get this fixed. I can only imagine what it would be like if all the lights went out at night. Glad I at least have two of the three still working.

Grand Cherokee Limited V8

Every since I've had this Jeep, I have been having electrical problems. My windows stopped letting down with no warning, I am having the same problem with my brake lights not showing, my air conditioner does not blow as it should, it never has. There is a yellow circle with a key inside of it on my instrument panel that no one seems to know why it's there. I have 2 neighbors with the same Jeeps and they are having the exact same problems as me. I am wandering just what I am suppose to do about this situation because it is really getting on my last nerve.

If I ever get the chance to get rid of this headache I will never buy another Jeep as long as I live.
