Grand Cherokee Laredo 3.7L V6

  • Automatic transmission

When driving down road car will just develop a wobble. Just had new rotors, calipers and brake hoses placed on car in hopes of solving wobble. It still wobbles. Doesn't feel like it's coming through steering wheel, more in seat of pants. Feel I threw money away.

I bought this 1997 Jeep a couple of years ago. Ran great for the first few months. Then the "Death Wobble" started. It was so bad that I had to have the steering gear box replaced 3 times. I would be driving down the road and the wobble would occur and strip the gears in the steering box. I have replaced the steering stabilizer, track bar, struts, tires but still no luck fixing it. Everything is tight as far as the steering goes and everything looks good underneath. This is really the only issue that I am having with the Jeep. Really would like to get it fixed because it is a good running vehicle for the age.
