This Jeep was my dad's. Rarely driven, always in a garage...very well taken care of. Still had the new car smell. The drivers window fell into the door. Had it repaired and it cost $228.00 to replace the window motor/regulator plus time and waiting, etc. Again, it's just sitting and the back passenger side window fell into the door. WTH? This Jeep has only 24000 miles!!! And now I have to take it in again and that checked. They better not tell me that the same part needs replaced --it's not even been two months!!! GRRRRRR. Jeep should be held accountable for their products. But I called Jeep and they said there is no recall. Are you freakin' kidding? So many people are complaining about it--and some like our Jeep are practically brand new!!!

Got in my car one morning to go to work and felt a breeze. Looked into the backseat and the window was halfway down. Had to put tape on it to match the tape on the other side. Looks like ass and is annoying as hell.

I have had my Jeep for about 3 years now and although it is 9 years old. I have been having the hardest time with my windows. I have had my windows repaired 4 times over the course of this past year itself. Twice within the month of each other . Duck tape has become by best friend at this point because like most people in there twenties I don't have $450 to spit out every time a window decides it no longer wants to work. Nothing as worse than waking out of an 8 hr shift to see that you window has completely sunk down and you have to spend 30 in the parking lot just to get it up to tap again.

I've checked countless times to see if Jeep will finally take into account that the hard wear is crap and maybe I DON'T KNOW add a RECALL? But no. As for now I count on duck tape to be my life saver.

I only had this car for 9 months and the window started having issues, it would roll down ok but then roll back up very slowly, had to jiggle window to get it back up. I took the car into the dealer and they "removed the door panel, found that the window regulator to be misaligned. They 're aligned' it, lubed the track. The ran the window up and down. OK."

From my invoice " customer said her right rear window dropped off the track." They replaced the window regulator with motor. This time I went to an independent auto service rather than the dealership. Looks like I'll be going AGAIN this coming Monday because my drivers side window JUST DID IT AGAIN. I'll be back to this site with another complaint. This will be the 6th time for this window problem. I think the only window it hasn't happened to yet is the front passenger side window. The crappy thing is is that I'm the only person in this car most of the time but the rear windows have been falling when they haven't even been used HALF as much as my drivers side window!

From my customer invoice: "Customer states the rear door glass has fallen down and won't go back up, check and advise.

Verified customer concern, LR window is inoperative, removed door panel and inspected window motor and regulator assemblies, left plate is detached from cable.

Removed and replaced left rear window lift plate verified proper operation, concern resolved" yeah, right.

when this work was done my battery was dead, they gave me a jump and said it would be fine. I got into my car and went where I had to go, when I came back to my car it wouldn't start. They had somehow wrecked my battery. I had to call AAA and buy a new battery.

I have had it, I haven't heard from anyone about fixing this problem. I am a widow and no one to fix this problem for me I told someone about it. They said it would be about $800.00 to fix I am on SSD and cannot afford that kind of money. Now my windows are duct taped up just so I can drive it, and even that is starting to drop. What the Hell am I gonna do in the winter? I need this problem fixed.

Had this Jeep since 2009...3 window regulators have been replaced since then and today the 4th one breaks. When I called the dealer ship was told no recalls on this issue (sure was one in earlier years)....same problem has just occurred with this window today. Don't know why dealership didn't fix when the recall was issued earlier I will be finding the papers for the previous situations. So now have to wait until Monday to get in and find the problem (already know what they are going to tell me). Was able to get window pulled back up and taped in place. Hope it doesn't rain before Monday. NOT VERY HAPPY RIGHT NOW!

Today my right rear window will not close. I hear a grinding noise when I try to close the window. My driver's side window has been giving me problems for years. I contacted Chrysler and they told me the warranty has expired.

Update from Aug 22, 2016: I had my right rear window repaired by an independent mechanic. Cost was about $300. I called Chrysler. They told that they couldn't cover the cost because my car was out of warranty and I had a independent mechanic repair it. My car has only 54,000 miles on it but they consider that high mileage. They told that they could do nothing for me. Is there anyone else to contact? Thanks for your help.

Update from Aug 22, 2016: When I had my right rear window repaired, the mechanic told me that my left driver side window will fail next. The latter window wobbles when I use it. Therefore, I do not use this window which is difficult since it is the driver side window.

Then the opposite window from the driver went down. I have not fix it because I can afford the $500 they were going to charge. This is the 4th window that has gone bad. I am so dam sick of it.

The panel opposite the driver fell off I have no idea what happened to it. I appears like it was put on with gum.

I need my window fixed. What in the hello am I going to do. I have not money to fix it. I am retired and I live on a limited income!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
