While driving, loss of power. Was driving 60 mph, lost power and car would not accelerate, but rpms would hit 6K. Had to change altenator. With brand new altenator I got 90 miles. Then car would only hit 20 mph, and rpms would hit 6K with no acceleration. Pull over and sit 5 minutes then car would accelerate normal. But the problem happens everytime I start car and go to drive. Have read that the has been an ECU and other issues and recalls for it with many others complaining. I was on highway. There seems to be an issue with the radio as it with the vehicle turned off and no key in ignition, the stereo makes noise like it's trying to work. Feel veryvunsage and it seems to be a manufacturing issue as the vehicle only has 90K miles.

We have 2 vehicles under recall S61/NHTSA 16V-668 dated 10/01/16 and still no remedy. This recall puts our lives in Jeep's hands every time we drive our cars. The other Patriot under this recall was hit by a deer while driving and the airbags did not deploy. Luckily, that time we were not injured, but what about next time?
