engine stalls/dies while driving engine stalls/dies while driving engine stalls/dies while driving engine stalls/dies while driving engine stalls/dies while driving

I am so sick of this 2015 Jeep Renegade Sport. The lights keeps flickering. While driving, the car will shut off and every WARNING LIGHT that shows up on vehicle shows on mine!!! I can be on the highway and it will shut off. I have called the tow truck so many times. And got so many jumps to my vehicle and my battery is 1 year old. I been in and out the Jeep dealership so many times. And paid for so many services on my Jeep.

SMH. How do I pay so many times for you guy to test it? And not 2 or 3 days, the issue continues 🤦🏾‍♀️... like I’m just ready to give up on this. I never had any issues until that first recall came out and I ended up taking it to the Jeep dealership to get fixed and since then this is the only issue I have been dealing with over and over again !

Vehicle suddenly stalls while driving - either turning corners or braking. Both auto shop and dealer could not diagnose issue other than potential excessive oil consumption or software update. Attempted fixes of both resulted in no effect.

By the love of all that is holy, in whatever you believe in, if you are reading this - AVOID THIS CAR LIKE A PLAGUE! So among ALL the problems this car has this is just one of them.

More engine problems for ya, guys. So the 2015 Jeep Renegade, it loses oil at a rate of 1 quart per 700 miles and JEEP declared this an acceptable loss. This problem usually occurs after 75,000 miles but I've been having this problem sine 40k miles. Anyway the car stalling out. I didn't have this problem all summer, but I noticed it more often in the winter. I'm talking twice a day. Upon cold starting the car specifically is when I noticed the problem.

Upon cold start if you pull off without warming up and the oil is low or out the engine will stall as soon as you press the breaks. It happened to me during a busy week when I was due for an oil change and didn't have time to go. It would happen before work after sitting all night and after work after sitting all day. When I went to check the oil the dip stick was dry so I added more oil and the problem went away. Something that I've found helps to reduce the consumption of the oil is to use 5W20, instead of the recommended 0W20 - its just slightly thicker and won't burn off as fast.

Was driving into work today via the same route I use every morning. Took one of the turns (to the right if that matters) and the car just died. IN TRAFFIC. No warning lights, no check engine light, nothing. Just dead in the water. Luckily I was able to pull off the road and onto the shoulder, but that was dangerous. WHY is this happening Jeep? ISSUE a recall already before someone dies!

Car died while driving on a main road without warning. Would not turn over and the car had power. Parking brake engaged on its own which would not allow the car to be pushed. I have the car at the dealership for repairs, however find this very concerning, as I could have been hit or killed if I were on I95. I fortunately was on a slow road and police were able to direct traffic around me.

Drove car off and on all day, then car shut off in a parking lot and would not restart. Had to have it towed to dealer and they replaced the fuse and other fuel parts. Fixed it until it did it again 2 weeks later on the highway.

We were driving up an interstate and the car shut off and would not restart. Had to have it taken to dealer for them to tell me they found nothing wrong with it.
