Power Side Step Module (PSSM) Update
This bulletin involves reprogramming the PSSM with the latest available software.
The customer may experience one or more of the following: The power side steps still deploy/retract after being disabled (i.e. PowerSide Step Store Mode) from the radio settings, this is observed when the vehicle just wakes up from sleep. The PSSM will not be able to enter sleep mode (resulting in a batterydrain) the moment the power side step radio setting is changed from ?Auto? to ?Store? mode and closing a door at the same time (changing radio setting within five seconds after a door is closed).
