Airbag light has started coming on. I brought Jeep into dealership. They gave me outrageous quote of $550 to fix this issue. Customer service was terrible, Service manager could care less that I was there and did not care when I told him I would take my Jeep, and my new-car buying future, elsewhere. Sorry Mick's in Ross Township, You lost a customer and will be happy to spread the word to my friends any family of the lack of customer service at your dealership.

Jeep has been a huge pain in the ass about this issue. County how they have never heard of a clock spring problem! I have looked online and found so many other people experiencing the same problems. Then of course I see they recalled postal keeps, guess they have to keep them happy in order for payments to get to them and they're known for going postal from time to time... Never mind us working class Jeep owners that have the same damn problem, we're supposed to be able to afford their faulty products.

Seriously, I miss my Chevy and haven't a reason to keep supporting Jeep.

air bag light keeps coming on and off

Dashboard, the airbag warning light flashes on every other minute with a chime, an indication that there is something malfunctioning or interfering with the vehicle's airbags. This has been a recurring issue and concern for many 2009 Jeep Wrangler (LHD) owners, including myself, and has been shown time and time again to be caused by a faulty clockspring within the vehicle's steering wheel. This faulty clockspring is the culprit for potential airbag failure in the 2009 Jeep Wrangler (LHD) during an accident or premature deployment when simply driving around. Daimler Chrysler has refused to address the safety concern of their faulty clockspring that can cause failure of the vehicle's airbags from properly deploying.
