Wrangler Sport 3.8L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 73,641 miles

headlight on and off randomly, interior light keeps stay on

After paying $1757.57 for replace the TIPM module, I learned from Internet that this is a defective device installed in most Chryslers' cars and the company has received numerous complaints about problems from it.

I contacted the dealer and even Chryslers saying that they must take responsibility for that, why let customer pay for a defective part. But they just ignore it by saying either my car is no longer in warranty or my car's year is not in the list of model to be recalled for free repair.

Wrangler Mountain

  • Automatic transmission
  • 50,000 miles

THE HEADLIGHTS WILL NOT STAY ON OR SOMETIMES WON'T EVEN TURN ON. I TOOK IT TO A DEALER AND THEY SAID IT WAS THE TIPM AND THE COST TO FIX WAS $1,200.00. I DO NOT HAVE THAT KIND OF MONEY RIGHT NOW, SO FOR SAFETY MY JEEP IS SITTING IN THE GARAGE AND WE ARE NOT DRIVING IT. WHICH IS A PROBLEM WHEN WE NEED TO GO SOMEWHERE AT NIGHT!

THIS IS A PROBLEM THAT I FEEL JEEP SHOULD RECALL AND HAVE IT FIXED FOR ME. THIS IS REALLY A SAFETY ISSUE. WHAT IF I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND MY HEADLIGHTS JUST WENT OUT !!!!
