Wrangler Sahara 4L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 3,700 miles

My daughter's 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sahara's wheel lug nuts will not stay tight. One wheel just about fell off. It was held on by one lug nut.

The lug nuts loosen up after 3 hundred or so miles. I have had the Jeep Dealer check the wheels and related parts but, they say there is nothing wrong. Just recently I had a reputable Service Station check the Jeeps wheel problem. They found the Bridgestone tires to require a GREAT amount of weight's to achieve balance but, when driven at approx. 50mph, the vehicle starts to shimmy. They WILL NOT BALANCE!!

My guess to this problem is that the bands in the Bridgestone tires are shifting. This problem has happened years ago when radial tires first appeared to the market. I have ordered new after market wheels and tires. NOTE: I believe the weight of the vehicle on the tires causes the bands to shift.
