Wrangler V6

So I was the first car at a stop light. Just sitting and waiting for the light to change, no cars moving no trucks and my windshield cracks out of nowhere. NO rock chips nothing hit my windshield just a crack dead center from the bottom and then went up. I was told that this would be warrantied because this happens often with Jeep Wranglers.

I took it to the dealership and they ran a ball point pen over it and said they could feel a lip so it is not covered. The issue that there are no rock chips and no other damage to the window was taken into consideration they said it was their official test. If there is a lip no warranty fix this is absurd to me!

So now they told me to take it across the street if I want a regular window I am looking at $300 lowest cost and if I want an actual Jeep window like what came standard I am looking at anywhere from 600- $800.00.
