ES 350 ES 3.5L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 105,000 miles

At just over 100,000 miles the evaporator core started leaking. This is the part in the air condition that gets cold so that the A/C works. In order to replace it, the ENTIRE dash, all the way to the firewall has to come out. When the air condition unit (that holds this part) is out, there is NOTHING left in the front of the car except wires. Since it's such a labor intensive job it costs over $2,000 dollars to have fixed. I have never had a car this young had this part go out. It went out when the car was only 8 years old.
