excessive oil consumption/carbon buildup on pistons

Problem due to side effect of the direct fuel injection technology engine. Carbon builds up on the pistons and causes many other problems with engine besides excessive oil consumption. Lexus has known about this for years. This should be a recall.Lexus wants $8,856.08 to repair this problem. They refuse to take responsibility for the problem and leaves it up to the customer to pay for the repair. They should not have sold a " luxury" car with this known inferior engine. This is dishonest and deceitful . Shame on Lexus for taking advantage of their customers. You should not pay this much for a car and then have to experience such costly problems. Lexus vehicles are supposed to be superior and dependable . They are lowering their standards and are not loyal to their customers. Lexus does not stand behind their product. They just want to get all of the money they can out of their customers. Greedy and dishonest.
