At low speeds, when going from 2nd to 3rd gear, I felt a hesitation, definitely transmission wasn't as smooth as it should. So I decided to perform a transmission fluid replacement.
I bought a 12 pack of Toyota ATF Type-IV transmission fluid and flushed the system, making sure the transmission cooler lines were also drained until fresh fluid came out, and WHAT A DIFFERENCE!
I was very lucky to detect this on time, the transmission fluid wasn't looking very pretty, I would recommend everyone doing this every 60 to 70 thousand miles.
There have been more than five thousand miles on my SUV now and no problems at all, smooth shifting every time!
