I loved the color when I bought this vehicle. I paid the extra cost to have the additional coating. What a waste of money. Not only has the paint chipped and oxidized, even the black paint on the side mirrors has peeled off. I don't use harsh chemicals to wash the vehicle. I know that it isn't a new vehicle but the way it looks the paint was inferior. I am the first and only owner so I know that it is not a bad repaint job, as I had with another vehicle. Someone else must have had this same problem. Was it because it is a metallic gold? That might explain some of the problem but not the peeling black paint on the side mirrors.
