had a ford explorer that had a blank radio screen. but radio worked. pain in the ass. cost me 75 dollars to pull out and send in to new york to have repaired. but worked great after repair/.now have a 4 yr old 2009 mkz same problem no screen' but radio works. ford just supplys junk radio's in all there models. no matter how much they cost. might have to try Cadillac next.
Update from May 10, 2013: radio went blank again today 05/10/2013.so sometime it works and sometimes it doesn't
Update from May 25, 2013: ford motor would not honor the guarantee, because the car was 2 days past 4 yrs... but BOB MAXEY LINCOLM DEALER. ON MACK AVE . STEPPED UP TO THE PLATE. REPLACED MY RADIO AT HIS EXPENSE. NO CHARGE TO ME. TALK ABOUT A GOOD DEALER. MR MICHAEL MAXEY IS A GREAT OWNER. I WOULD TELL ANYBODY, THAT HIS DEALERSHIP IS THE PLACE TO SHOP FOR A NEW OR USED AUTOMOBILE..
