CX-5 Touring 2.5L Skyactiv

  • Automatic transmission
  • 100 miles

This car is sluggish when leaving from a stop, lugs going up any kind of hill, shifts to soon in regular mode but when in sport mode it over revs so much it sounds like it is going to blow up before it finally shifts. It is like the computer is telling it one thing to do but it is not engineered right to do what it is supposed to do or there is some internal defect with something. Maybe the VVT., Maybe some component inside the transmission is not made right. They put some kind of fulcrum inside the transmission to counter act the vibration that comes when it does the cylinder deactivation which might be causing these problems. That fulcrum might even be causing the recurring resistance problem I have been having since I bought this car.. Mazda wants to act like it is not happening, but that is not going to fly with me. Anybody else having this kind of problem or anything like it, please post.
