This was such a scary moment. My mom, niece and myself was sitting in the car and out of no where the back windshield just shattered into a million pieces. We thought we were being bombed. Until this day i'm still afraid to drive in my own vehicle thinking that it may happen again being that I don't have any explanation to how it happened to begin with. I fear that it may happen to my front windshield so I drive with shades fearing glass will blow up in my face. It's so depressing.

This car has been great to me overall. However, I have now had it almost 3 years and just rolled over the 30k mileage mark. The front headlight needed to be replaced as there was a crack in the seal letting moisture in. Then on 11/11/13, I was driving home from work & the back window just shattered out. Little things keep going wrong with the car that should NOT be happening with that low of mileage. Epic fail Mazda. Both issues happened with a friends car, same year, color. & trim.
