B200T Turbo

This car has had issues since I moved in northern Ontario, Moonbeam. Mercedes claims the vehicle is rated for -30, but it has been running poorly ever since it slept outside at -15. There is no block heater available for this model. To date, it has bent a valve stem, it has had numerous engine light issues, it runs poorly (very gutless), very hard on gas just an overall lemon. To make things worst, I moved to Moonbeam in 2010, and the closest dealer is 5 hours away. The car had to be towed, and has went into limp mode on several occasions. I have written numerous emails to Mercedes Benz Canada, but I always get the same response; "we will advise the dealer and they will contact you". The dealer is not the issue with this car and they are as frustrated with this as I am. If you live in a Northern climate stay away from the B200T it's a southern car and should remain in a warmer climate. Another suggestion would be to lease a B200T over buying one, at least this way you can dump it after your lease is over. I have also changed multiple bulbs on it, surprisingly, the engine light has not burnt out yet as it has been on since November as I still wait for direction from Mercedes.

Shame, Shame, Shame
