Outlander ES 3L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 8,944 miles

I was driving and out of sudden the 4WD and LOCK started to flash and I immediately stopped on the side, put it in park position, and I stopped the engine. Waited couples seconds then started the engine again I pressed the brake pedal to put it back in Drive but it was stuck. I called road side assistance they sent a tow. The guy tried to release the emergency locking mechanism but that was locked as well.

Dealer told me that the fuse #20 (7.5AMP) was blown up that was the back up light circuit.

Dealer told me that circuit is also responsible for the lock mechanism also.
