Rust should never happen with low mileage after 3 years in between metal body sheet... it’s a manufacture defect. The quality control at factory is the issue... it needs a more intelligent robotic soldering.

The car is quite stunning, however the build quality on the 2016 is suspect. It appears that the chrome expands and contracts in the winter months and cracks the paint. Someone else reported that the finish on the chrome was rough and overtime damaged the paint. This is a long known issue for this car, I am dumbfounded why Nissan doesn't issue a recall. Within three years, I have rust streams running down my white paint. For the $40k spent, I am not impressed.
