Complained about the radio to local dealership service dept. where vehicle purchased. Mechanic drove vehicle and agreed with poor reception and static stating it needed a new front center speaker. Part ordered. Upon dealership installing speaker - found there is no speaker in the front center! So... no speaker installed. Have been told they checked another vehicle like mine and found it had the same problem - that I have to live with it or replace it on my own as an out-of-pocket expense - not covered under any warranty. I've only had the vehicle for 4 mos., I can't listen to the radio (although I was told the Country-Western station came in clearly - I hate C-W, I listen to jazz & classical!). I get the stations on my 2005 Nissan Frontier with no problem so it's not the locale but the stupid radio. Come on Nissan - if you want my business in the future, you'll fix this problem to my satisfaction and not make me listen to the mechanic's favorite station!
