3/13/2023, The last two times I drove the 2016 Nissan, the AWD Error was on the display. I-€™m not sure what would cause this. I also noticed that the ABS indicator flashes for a while and then stays on when I first start the vehicle. As I look back, A few times I remember a hesitation after descending a steep street and making a sharp left turn onto an intersecting street. It felt as if there was no power even though the engine accelerated. Today the vehicle has 32,386 miles on the odometer. This vehicle sits idle most of the time in our driveway as it belongs to my son who is in the military overseas. I drive it on occasion to maintain the battery. I did replace the battery several months ago. This is the second battery replacement since it was purchased.

June of 2022 I pressed my brakes and the brakes didn-€™t respond and went completely to the floor. I had the brakes and rotors replaced and over the next two months it did that 3-4 more times. August of 2022 this intermittent problem became more consistent and I took it to a mechanic, two other mechanics and they could not diagnose the problem since it wasn-€™t doing it for them. These people suggested I take it to the Nissan dealership. The Nissan dealer also said they couldn-€™t find anything wrong and bleed the brakes. They indicated that air was present in the brakes. The brakes responded appropriately for one week and began to intermittently not respond and go to the floor again. I had to pump the brakes for the car to stop. I took it back to The Nissan dealer and again they found nothing wrong. Next step was replacing the master cylinder and bled the brakes again. The brakes worked for 8 days before failing again. Over $1000 in work abs the brake are still not consistently working and I feel unsafe not knowing when the car will or will not stop.

Engine unexpectedly stalls/stops under power. Along with power steering and brakes. Engine sensors were replaced by dealership. Condition persists and confirmed by dealership. Dealership maintains this is an engine wiring harness issue that shorts out under certain conditions. While engine was operating, dealership was able to cause engine to stop. Cautioned me to get wiring harness replaced, as it could present a safety issue or accident. Check engine lie went on as did the traction control light in each case after they were reset. I am taking vehicle to another service center to evaluate. Estimate was $3,402 to replace engine harness, plus it was $750 to replace sensors, Vehicle has 55,000 miles on it.

Car Feb brakes when no other cars around and sets off malfunction light. Does during turns or while driving straight. Again, this occurs when no other cars are present. A review of internet show a couple class action lawsuits for front end braking system doing this. It occurs in the middle of driving for no reason. Luckily no wreck.

We purchased out 2016 Nissan Rogue in February of 2017. It only has ~14K miles on it and the rotors have already warped. We took it to gainesville Nissan and all they did was turn the rotors and state that Nissan does not consider the essentially new rotors to be faulty. The webster's dictionary definition of faulty is as follows: Marked by fault or defect :imperfect. The rotors are essentially new and turning them very much limits the lifetime of the part. The rotors and pads should be replaced to make sure we are safe. There is no reason for these low mileage rotors to have warped. How many other people are in this situation?

I just came off the highway where I almost got killed by a big, long white trailer truck because my vehicle failed to stop at a red light, the brake did not budge, it happened so fast, it feels like the brake was stuck, so I got out of the intersection and steered my way to safety only there was no where for me to safely stop because the ramp took me to I95 S which is very busy. I took the car home safely and parked it. My point is I have been complaining to the dealership about this same issue and nobody is listening. There is something wrong with this vehicle, I have been complaining since I had 66 miles on it. Please advise me what to do.

On 2/7/16, I was pulling into my parking space at work. My foot was on the brake as I was coming to a stop in my space. All of a sudden, the engine revved loudly, and the car lunged forward, jumped the curb and slammed into the office building!!!! I had no control even though my foot was pushing on the brake as hard as I could. My 5 year old daughter was in the car with me, and to think of what could have happened petrifies me. This malfunction has to be investigated and resolved. The diagnostics and repairs estimates are happening now, so the reports are still being formulated, and I can add them to this report once they are completed. I have contacted Nissan usa headquarters and they are supposed to be sending a regional coordinator to inspect the vehicle. I have uploaded pictures of the damage and the scene.
