The airbag light turned on without any accidents happening, went to the dealership and they charged me for diagnosing the problem then they quoted me 3000 usd + to repair. The car is 48,000 miles with clean title and zero accidents, having the airbag light on without accidents means nothing but a manufacturer-€™s fault

On 11/21/2020 at 5:30 pm, we had a car crash on a highway I-495 (capital beltway, md), we were in our car (I, my wife, 2 kids), we noticed a sudden stop by many cars ahead of us in the same lane we were in (left lane), I pressed my brake and been able to avoid reaching the car ahead of me but unfortunately, the car behind me was very fast with no control in their brake thus, she hit my car from the rear and pushed me to hit the front car. After we stopped, I went out to notice that 9 cars were involved in the crash. Although it was a big and hard accident, my car's airbags didn't deploy, however, it did open in most of the other cars. Due to the nondeployment of the airbag, we had a lot of body pains, whiplashes, and my son was hit in his head (I have an emergency initial diagnostic report from the hospital). In addition, my car experienced huge damages from back and front, and eventually, it had been totally unfixable according to the inspection from the collision technician. I had contacted the car manufacturer (Nissan) to open a case, but they didn't consider the risk that we exposed by not deploying the airbags and they ignore that they are having any problems regarding this issue and they justified this incident by saying that as long as the car been hit by the rear the airbag will not be deployed regardless of the hit strength.

The air bag light on the dash stays on every time I drive & the passenger air bag light also always stays on indicating that the passenger air bag is off even with an adult sitting in the seat. Not sure if is an electrical issue with the wiring or an air bag sensor.

When making a U-turn on a city street my vehicle suddenly accelerated on it's own at full speed sending my car into a tree. The tree stopped the vehicle. None of the air bags deployed. I got a head injury and went to the er via rescue squad. Many people were in the area, luckily no one was hit. Attached are some photos of the damaged vehicle. Consumer stated contacted Nissan and described to them what happened. Consumer told the dealer that he wished for them to look into the software and try to find the problem. Consumer stated the car crash occurred on Friday July 26, 2019. The car was towed by dennis' towing & transportation. Their address is 13990 West lisbon road, brookfield, Wisconsin 53005 and their phone number is 1-262-781-5022. I removed my license plates from the Nissan Rogue on Tuesday July 30, 2019 and that was the last time that I saw the car. It was my understanding that the car was being transported to a salvage yard possibly somewhere in Chicago. I don't know that for sure. If you were to call dennis' towing & transportation they may be able to tell you where the car was shipped to.

Tamara recall.... the vehicle was turning left lane on a city street when a car came out of nowhere the sensors didn't beep & the airbags supposedly had been serviced or repaired by dealer but they never deployed & it was a frontal crash. Plus dealer already had knowledge of this type of fault but still didn't bother telling me but put it in 1 of the service maintenance invoices and I think dealer is doing mischief please investigate... thank U 4 ur time.... P.S they have done repairs on the vehicle that are not required yet as well I am a certified auto technician a.S.E certifications
