When I first got the vehicle last year a few days after having it my check engine light came on and I called the dealership and told them the issue, and the had me to bring it in the drive was over an hour. I get there they gave me a loaner. At first they said I could choose from a selection, but the I get there and I couldn't choose I could only get the truck they gave me because of the bankruptcy program. The other day the engine light came on again I took it to auto zone and they put it on the diagnostic machine and printed out a paper as if now I have over 70,000 miles on my dashboard, but the paper said 122,015 miles.

While slowing down or turning, vehicle is making wearied broken popping noise from rear wheels or axle. I have requested the Nissan dealer to diagnose the issue, but they were unable to identify this issue since 3 weeks and then they called Nissan engineer for help but still they are also unable to identify the issue so Nissan engineer created engineering review request for this issue. Till now no update from the dealer or Nissan and there is no et for the fix.

This is a new incident for same vehicle reported in NHTSA incident #11308847. The vehicle was attempted to be picked up for the first time since February 10, 2020 when it was involved in a wreck on that date. Vehicle had been with Nissan representatives continuously since that date. The vehicle had sat unattended for several months due to issues reported in NHTSA incident #11308847. Nissan provided written response the vehicle's body damage was repaired but they were unable to reproduce any computer issues. Consumer was instructed to pick-up vehicle by today. The vehicle was started while at the Nissan facility and left running for a little while as the battery had completely discharged. During the final check before I left the Nissan facility, the vehicle's ignition was engaged and the vehicle was fully running. However, numerous lights on the dashboard were illuminated that should not be illuminated while the vehicle was parked and turned on. These lights included power steering, ABS, brake, check engine, oil pressure, and a few other lights. Additionally, the air conditioning system was completely unresponsive in terms of blowing air or running any fans. The vehicle could not be released by the Nissan facility's service manager and the vehicle will be kept for further investigation into continuing onboard computer systems not functioning correctly. The consumer stated the battery had low voltage causing the failures.

The backup camera is freezing at random when I am backing up causing me to have to stop and put the vehicle in park and turn the vehicle off and back on to reset the backup camera to get it to unfreeze to get it to fully work again. Otherwise it remains frozen even when I put the vehicle in drive and drive to a new and leave the vehicle running and stop and backup the backup camera is still frozen not until I turn the vehicle off does the backup become unfrozen. This is a random happening, and does not happen all the time and I can not predict when it will occur the next time. This is a major safety issue that could cause me to hit a child that could randomly run out behind my vehicle without warning in a parking lot or when backing out of a driveway. This has happened about 25 times now since the recall of the recall was repaired on my 2018 Nissan rouge sv before the recall and 1200 mile service was done ion my vehicle had no issues with my until I had all this work done. The issue with my backup happens in parking lots driveways it does not matter when I park it is a random occurrence that happens when I put the vehicle in reverse day or night. It just happens out of the blue. And scares me when it does and I have to be more alert to everything around me in my mirrors to make sure I do not hit anything or anyone. This needs to be fixed and I know if it is happening to my vehicle it has to be happening to others I can not be the only person with this issue.

I had an issue a couple times since owning the vehicle (pre software update due to recall) where you would put the vehicle in reverse and the backup camera would come up and you start reversing only to realize that the video from the back up camera is in fact frozen. The recall was issued last fall which I thought was to address this issue. Now that I have the new software update, the issue has become so much more prevalent than it ever was before. I am now encountering the issue on a weekly basis. I notified Nissan but figured it couldn't hurt to make you all aware as well since this is a safety issue if you cannot trust the backup camera to work.

Vehicle begins to shake roughly when going 55mph or more. The wobble even made my seatbelts lock up. Seems to be coming from around the tires maybe the suspension. The suspension looks just fine, didnt seem loose, yet at highway speeds feels very dangerous! nothing noticeable while driving through town.

As I was driving to work, the stationary portion of the panoramic sunroof suddenly exploded and shattered. It sounded like a gunshot and there was a hole in the center of the sunroof. I was not near any other vehicles and nothing struck the car. It spontaneously exploded. This problem should be fixed before someone is hurt.

The contact sharing a rollaway incident w/ a 2018 Nissan Rogue. The car was in park when the event occurred. I've a fuller version of this, if needed. Details: On 12/16/19, I came home around 4:45pm. It was raining & almost dark. My son was in backseat & I was driving. I parked at the top of my driveway, front 1st. (the driveway is long/sloped, but evens at the top, still slightly angled.) I put the car into park, pressed the parking break (per habit), and, leaving the car completely on, I unlocked my home's door. My son was in the car, listening to a song, as I got the trash cans/mail from the curb. (this all took 5 mins, thus, I know that the car was in park, not neutral or reverse.) I opened the front passenger door & told my son to go in the house. Standing on my driveway, I got my bags & reached across to press the keyless start button. As soon as I did, the car began to roll backwards and hit a tree. The car door pushed me down the driveway. Thankfully, I was able to get leap free, just as the car really picked up speed. It finally crashed into a tree in my neighbor's yard, landing over a drainage ditch B/w our homes. There were only minor injuries. The carseat headrest broke. The visible car damage is on the rear bumper/liftgate and the passenger door. Shaken, I didn't think to take photos or call the police. As I awaited a tow truck, I did not access the car: It was over the ditch, in mud and rain, w/ 1 wheel suspended in air. When the tow driver had me get in to help him move it, and I found the parking break depressed and the car in park. The tow-truck driver may be able to verify this. (the parking brake was not completely pressed to the floor. Maybe halfway.) I have filed a report with Nissan. Nissan stated we were not to blame. Consumer stated she had minor bruises on her right ankle and heel. Consumer was told there was no evidence of the problem. Consumer stated vehicle may be recorded in husband's name at the col

While the vehicle was in motion driving straight at approximately 30 miles per hour, at 7:52am on university blvd at highway 75, the automatic emergency braking system engaged for no reason causing the vehicles brakes to inappropriately engage. This was a failure of the automatic emergency braking system due to the random nature and the fact there was no hazard or condition requiring the automatic emergency braking to become engaged. This is not the first time this has happened and at least one previous safety complaint has been entered. This failure of the automatic emergency braking system do cause the vehicle to stop and is a very serious safety concern.

Emergency braking system is breaking by itself specifically on highway speeds consistently after ~1 hour into a trip. First, brought the vehicle to be fixed around two months ago after multiple breaking attempts at highway speeds. Almost caused a crash because my car started break checking people behind me. The breaks kick on for around a second, then kick off. This happens around twice, which then the car says the front radar is broken and turns the system off. After bringing it in the first time, same results happened. Brought it in a second time earlier this week. Tech confirmed system errors with "C1A16 codes". drove it after bringing it in a second time, and same problem is occurring.

My backup camera would freeze about 2-3 seconds after putting in reverse. It didn't matter if I was still moving or stopped, it would freeze. It was happening every time I backed up. Eventually the live view would come back, but I could never trust the screen or the sensors while backing up. I recently took it into a dealership for a diagnostic, and they said there is an update available to the software to fix it. I would guess my car is not the only one with this problem and want to report this so that if others are having the same problem, the software update can be covered by Nissan. Similar Nissan/infiniti models are doing a recall for a software update to the cameras; I'm not sure why my VIN is not included in that campaign.

The automatic emergency braking system has malfunction many times - at least 10 times in the last year of ownership being January 2018 through November 2019. The most recent specific incident occurred on November 22, 2019 at 12:20pm in clear daylight while driving on paved road, city street, not turning. The rate of speed was approximately 15mph and caused the vehicle to immediately stop. This is very concerning due to the high possibility of serious injury if the malfunction were to occur at a high rate of speed.

While driving my car, highway or side streets, I get a number of different warning lights, all dealing with my tires and braking system. I took my car to the dealership, and was told there is a recall on the ABS. I check my car in for repairs, waited, left and supposing everything was back to normal just to get on the road the next day and get the exact same problem. Took it direct to the dealership, just to find out all they did was just reprogrammed my car to get the lights off. At this point and time, the ser vice department was closed, so I returned the next day, waited for 4 hours just to find out 'it's going to cost me $300-500 and 2 hours ' to repair but they don't have the part. All of this started on Saturday 11/09/2019.

About 2 months after fixing a recall on the aeb system on my 2018 Nissan Rogue, my car's aeb system engaged while driving 75 mph on the interstate causing my vehicle's antilock brakes to kick on and beep a warning to slow down because my car's sensor believed something was in front of me. There was nothing in front of me for miles and fortunately, no one was behind me to slam in to me. My local dealership stated that the problem was a faulty icc sensor, which works complementary with the vehicle's aeb system. Fortunately, it will only cost me the $100 deductible on my extended warranty because at 52K miles, I'm over warranty, but Nissan needs to correct this problem to be a safety issue and fix regardless of the mileage on each vehicle.

My Rogue has been brought in 4 times for safety issues. I have contacted Nissan and not getting anywhere. All my sensor lights came on and ABS. My car broke on the freeway going 70 mph to 50 mph. Luckily no one was behind me. That happened in May 2019. I was terrified to drive and used my husband's car. I looked up and they said if ABS lights you should not drive and have it towed because it could start a fire! then it happened again and I was on a side street going 40 mph and it braked to 30 and there wasn't anything in front of me. I don't want to drive this car at all. I want them to just take it back. I drive as a home care nurse for a living and it is not safe when driving is a big part of my job. I have brought ther car in 4 times! not safe!!!!
