After receiving many calls and letters for air bags recalls, I set an appointment with the agent josh for Thursday July 16, 2020 at performance Nissan at 1345 South federal highway, pompano fl 33062, at 7:30 am. When talking with josh, he told me that there are two recalls in my Nissan. I asked him to do both recalls at the same time. He said both recalls could take one hour. We set the appointment and he gave me the phone to talk to performance Nissan for confirmation. On Thursday July 16, 2020, I went to the appointment. It took me, more than three hours at the place. However, at the end they told me they did one recall, and they ordered the parts for the other recall, which part they will have in three days. When they gave the car, I felt that it did not sound as it used to before the recall. The ac did not work perfectly, but I thought that was because they did not finish with the air bag recall. On Friday July 17, 2020, my wife drove the car to work as it is her car. But when she came back, she told me that the car had problems and she did not want to drive it again. I said to her that the problem is because they did not complete the recall. On Wednesday July 22, 2020, my wife told me to drop her at work. I took the car, and when I started it I felt the car was making noise and shaking. For I did not drive it, and I saw at that time that my wife was in danger while driving the car. After I dropped her at work, I called perfprmance nissance to report that they damaged my car while performing the air bags recall. They called me to drive the car to them for diagnostic. I told them that they must send someone to tow the car. They instead gave me a phone number to call for pick up the car. They picked up the car by 3;00 pm.on Thursday 23, 2020 email: [xxx] redacted to protect personally identifiable information pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

My Nissan has under 50,000 miles on it. I drive in new england, roads are a bit tougher- however my muffler is making a loud noise and hanging loose from the body of my car. My resonator pipe snapped and I got a quote for $931.75 from a local meineke. After doing some research it seems like a lot of people have this problem. It seems dangerous that this could happen in such a short amount of time on a car that should still be running efficiently, I noticed it while driving, got home and pulled over to notice the muffler was very very loose

Car making noises when turning. Strut bearings replaced. Recall serviced on front coil springs. Car is at 87800 miles but at 87300 engine started making knocking/pinging/clicking/ticking noises. Took to Nissan. Mechanic said Nissan engineers say this is normal for their 4 cylinder motors. Said he couldn't locate source of sound but possibly cylinder 2 or 3. he told me until check engine light comes on or until engine fails don't worry about me to keep oil changed every 3700 miles and run engine restore products in with oil changes. I tried this the next day, and noise became worse. The car has never been run low on oil, has been serviced like it was supposed to be, never smokes or burns oil, oil always looks clean at oil changes. Since the noise started, there is decreased fuel mileage. Other than that, the sound and it's tune so to speak, have been the only changes as far the engine goes. The suspension/steering still isn't right. After bearings replaced, some noise went away while turning, but now turning either way, when first taking off, vehicle makes weird clunking noises. I'm wondering if it has bad struts?

First the engine oil light does not work. This car burns oil quickly. Due to this I had been running my car with low oil. Which resulted with a piston popping out and it is requested I replace my engine.

Approximately 2 months after I purchased my 2011 Nissan Versa I noticed a knocking sound under the hood. It almost sounded as though the car was low of oil but this wasn't the case. I took it to the Nissan dealership and was told that "the valves or valve sleeves were cut too long during the machining process of the motor and they were tapping against the bottom of the motor". he explained to me that this should not cause any problems, however... after reading several other stories of what sounds like the same symptoms and then having to have the motor replaced I decided to write this in hopes of an investigation of a possible recall.

The service engine light began to go on and off as well as a knocking sound had developed. We had our son, who had attended school to become a mechanic, checked it looking at the oil level. The oil was about a quart low and he advised us to take it to carmax where we had purchased the car. After two diagnostic tests and an oil change at $140, my husband was told that it needed a new engine. It is burning oil and is being emitted out the exhaust and has excessive engine blow by. We have been advised by maxcare, carmax's warranty company, that in order to properly diagnose the problem and determine if it is covered by warranty we have to pay another $400 to have the engine torn down with no guarantee repairs will be covered by the warranty the another $400 to put it back together if it is not fixed. Also, at least 3 times when the service engine light began to turn on and off the Versa stalled while in heavy traffic. We also complained to carmax that the check tires indicator light would go on and off causing us to constantly stop to check the pressure and often it was ok. Carmax offered to run another diagnostic test for more money to try to find out what the problem was. Both problems could cause serious damage in the future and it seems the only way to get it repaired is to pay out of our pocket.

My husband purchased the Nissan Versa 4hb 2011 brand new. A few months back while driving on the Texas freeways 70 mph...the check engine light came on and the vehicle shut down and I lost power and speed, this was frightening and very dangerous....we took the vehicle to the dealership and was told the throttle body need to be replaced: Price, over $1000...our personal mechanic was able to do the job but unfortunately it was short lived and happened again. We went to another dealership and was told the same thing about replacing the throttle body, we explained it was replaced but needed the vehicle to be recoded...the guy said the part was defective, so we took it back to the mechanic, and had it replaced, but it happened again...so we went to the dealership again and was told they would recode the monitor...which was done...but here now it happened again, putting me in a dangerous situation on Texas freeways....now sitting in my garage. I need help advice anything that would give us a clue as to why so much trouble with a vehicle barley 2 years old....I do not want to die on Texas freeways....

I had to attempt a sudden brake and the vehicle made a weird noise. The vehicle then stopped in the middle of traffic and stalled. I called aaa had it towed to temecula ca to the Nissan dealership and checked. Found out that the transmission needs to be replaced and my engine. I have a warranty on my transmission and its covered. The engine is not apparently. What I don't understand is why didn't anyone tell me about the recall, now they refuse to fix my car or help.

Brought the car in August 2011. At every service I would report of knocking noise as if the car was in need of oil. I was repeatedly told that there is/was nothing wrong with the car. Again in August 2012; I complained about the noise one of the new tech's looked at the car and it was determined that my engine was gone and they needed to replace it which they did do. The only thing I have to ask should the warranty start over?
