Versa Note SV 1.6L 4-cyl

  • CVT transmission
  • 12,000 miles

Had the car for almost 7 months and around 11,000 miles and the first time I took it on the interstate during the first two hours of the trip, the windshield starts cracking from the top of the passenger side. This is our 8th vehicle in 5 years and the ONLY one to have a cracked windshield.

Versa Note SV 1.6L 4-cyl

  • CVT transmission
  • 29,000 miles

After FINALLY deciding to replace the windshield for $350 (which was the cheapest quote I could find) on a Saturday morning, I got on the highway back home on Sunday afternoon and it cracked again. Luckily, this time it was caught and small enough to repair rather than replace before it spread. Only $290 to repair rather than replace... It has been a whopping four months since the repair and it hasn't cracked yet but let me go ahead and knock on wood because a bird may poop on my car while it's parked tomorrow and it will probably crack again.
