The most annoying problem that I have had with this car is the sound/stereo system. I have taken it to a Stereo shop to have them listen to it and they said it was not the speakers but probably a problem with the amp. I encounter distortion when listening to most music coming from several of the 8 speakers this car is equipped with. It sounds as if the speakers are blown but the dealer and the Stereo shop insists they are not. It mainly happens when it is cold out. Mostly..and in this Province it is cold more than it is warm.. I have found the only way to have it clear is to turn it up fairly loud. I don't mind loud music but at night in a quite neighborhood it is not good. I can't listen to the radio channels as they are to distorted when this happens.

I encounter distortion when listening to most music coming from several of the 8 speakers this car is equipped with. It sounds as if the speakers are blown but the dealer insists they are not. The front speakers have finally started to work but now am experiencing the problem with the back speakers. The dealer has replaced the stereo the amp, several of the speakers and the problem seems to re-occur. At first it was when it was cold but now it is all the time. I do not listen to music extremely loud nor do I abuse the system. This vehicle is equipped with what I have been told is the top of the line stereo system that is available for the GTP model. I am very frustrated and nobody can seem to help. I suppose I will make yet another trip to the dealer.
