I have only owned my car for 9 months. The check engine light has been on 7-8 months during that time. Sometimes there is a problem, other times there isn't. I have had it reset and it comes back on!

Well every couple of weeks the service engine soon light will come on... for no apparent reason... I don't detect a stall in engine, etc. But sometimes there will be a hard shift and the next time I go to get in my car after being off, the damn light is on. So I take it to Autozone to put on the code reader and it shows MAP sensor- which has been replaced like 3 times, but it doesn't fix the problem. The guy at Autozone told me now that it could be something to do with the timing... what the hell? This is the worst piece of sh*t car I have ever owned. I usually tell my friends not to buy one, unless you want to keep doing repairs!! I'm sick of it!! The service engine soon light will go off and then 2-4 weeks later it will come back on!! I've had the catalytic coverter replaced, O2 sensor, MAP sensor, and the list goes one!!
