G6 GTP 3.9L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 55,000 miles

I bought the car about 2 years ago and the problem started at around 35K miles. I would hear a clicking sound when turning at low speeds and it gradually kept getting louder, now on top of that there is a clicking noise while driving and it's also getting louder. Today I was driving at around 50mph and when I stepped on the break pedal the steering wheel started to shake and there was also alot of shaking coming from the steering column, specially on the driver side. The car has also started to lean to the left. This has happened when I'm waiting at a red light. When I step on the gas the car moves slightly to the left until I straighten the car out.

I can't believe I am paying for a faulty and dangerous car. I have always owned GM cars but this is my last for sure. I will be taking the car in soon to see what they can do. This needs to be recalled, there are way too many people with this same problem. I will never buy GM again. Does anyone know if they are owning up to this problem or are they just waiting for someone to get seriously injured? I wouldn't be surprised if they are. Screw money hungry GM, never ever again.

G6 SED 3.5L

  • Automatic transmission

So I just got the g6 and I love it but!!! yes a but.. at 50mph my steering wheel was shaking so bad I thought I was in a rocket taking off. But seriously, it was bad. I almost got killed on the highway when it happened. I called my dealer AND TOLD THEM WHAT HAPPENED. THEY JUST TOLD ME THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO FOR ME FOR FREE.... I was so upset I tried something and it worked for me OK.. so for those who have car payments or are still paying the bank. call the bank and tell them what is going on and there is nothing thy will do and that you are going to enforce the lemon law. When I was done with the bank they called the dealer and I got a surprise - they will fix the problem.. wow!! just make sure you tell the bank that they will be losing money under the lemon law.. thy will take it from there.. GOOD LUCK
