Grand Prix 3.8L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 114,000 miles

Car overheating and loosing coolant. Even reservoir completely empty I keep refilling coolant every other day. Then car jerks while in drive while driving very dangerous and terrifying. I changed radiator hoses upper and lower and reservoir hose. Still over heating. Thermostat has been changed and radiator. Still over heats.

IDK what the hell is causing it to over heat. Also loosing power steering fluid car sounds like an airplane. I refill power steering fluid every two weeks. Transmission is so bad with jerks, now loss of power, but once it gets power its okay until I come to a stop. When light turns green, it takes a good 2 minutes and downshifting to get it to move, but once it does its ok. Transmission problems can cause a deadly accident. Needs to be RECALLED.

it was really awful because I had just had this problem fix at the dealer about two months earlier--when the vehicle on had 28,000 miles on it--I'm in the Military and was unable to take the vehicle back to the dealership due to a deployment--when I returned it was in the middle on winter in Kentucky--needless to say there hasn't been a need to use the AC yet---again is this a common problem with this model car?
