had a recall 06/07/16 from GM to replace module defect call back #14291. Advised my mechanic and he advised that the work done in 2012 was due to module and should be covered by the warranty. GM dealer replaced the defective part N/C but refused to pay for burnt wiring harness work. Contacted GM, they in turn contacted the dealer and came back to me saying NOT responsible.

This is a cause and effect situation and unless GM is aware that the defective module is causing other problems, they will not be moved.

Suggest all owners of this recall to contact their respective mechanics and see if theis problem arose for them and if so, advise GM. We need a ground swell to get this attended to.
