Notice lights stayed on after the car was off! Don't know if the was leading up to fuse box burning up#

headlights remain on after you have turned off car. Have to go out several times start car and turn off sometimes as many as 7-8 times.. Then just when you think it's alright sometimes as much as 2-3 hours they are back on again.At this point I have removed the relay switch until I have to drive at night, or until I know what the problem is. Any suggestions

Notice that my 2007 Grand Prix headlights would not turn off. Drove not even 5 minutes and the fuse box caught on fire. I have made a complaint with GM. My insurance states it is because of a defective part.
