The contact owns a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix. While driving 30 mph in rainy conditions, the contact applied the brakes and the vehicle fishtailed the contact struck another vehicle and only the driver's side air bag deployed. Her vehicle was destroyed. She suffered major injuries to her neck, back, and abdomen and was transported to the hospital. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to a site and the insurance company then towed it to a salvage yard. The dealer has not yet been notified. The contact stated that the driver's side air bag did not appear to fully deploy. She believed that it may not have been the correct size for the vehicle. The failure and current mileages were 60,000. Updated 8/18/09 updated 08/21/09.

The contact owns a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix. While driving 40 mph, the contact's vehicle crashed into the rear end of another vehicle. The driver side air bag deployed; however, the passenger side air bag failed to deploy until 15 minutes after the crash occurred. There was no passenger in the seat and the air bag indicator was not illuminated. The vehicle sustained front end damage and was towed. A police report was filed. The passenger side air bag damaged the dashboard and smashed the windshield. The current and failure mileages were 1,600.
