Took car to have the passenger side airbag recall fixed. 4 days later the airbag light came on. Took it back to dealership, now it's an issue with the driver side. Mind you there was no light on before they got in there. Computer code says the drivers side air bag circuitry high resistance. Sounds to me like the new part is causing other problems.

Last week I receive safety recall notice that GM has the part to replace the passenger air bag inflator. The first GMC dealer I called did not have clue and has not got back to me yet. He first said a connector was being replaced. The second GM dealer said only a bracket was being replace and also did not have a clue. The GM recall letter stated the passenger side inflator was being replace. Is that correct"???"
