Defrost never turns off while running the a/c!!!! You can have it set to face and the a/c still blows through the defrost vents. The worst is in the morning, in the rain, or at night. If you run out of washer fluid the condensation smears across the windshield blocking visibility. Always playing with my a/c to not blow so cold so the windshield doesn't fog up. Or turn if off. Or run defrost on full heat. Or use washer fluid, or use the wipers, or just go insane trying to keep the windshield clear.

Took my truck to two different Ram dealers and they said that is considered a normal condition and can not be fixed. WHAT??? Normal is no a/c blowing through the defrost vents when the defrost is off. That's normal like my 15 previous vehicles I drove. Wish I could tell everyone looking to buy a Ram to not too. By the older ones they worked as intended. Also felt a 2020 Ram doing the same thing on a dealers lot awaiting sale. Oh well, Ram made its bed and now....
