went to start and nothing, battery is OK has a quick flash of fuel filter service. and still have 35% left according to the truck. I am guessing it is the fuel pump issue awaiting what the dealership states it has only 36000 miles so its still under warranty.

Front differential locked up without notice on highway at highway speed and almost lost control of my vehicle. Due to the front different locking up, the front driveshaft broke but did not come completely off right away and almost came through the floor of my vehicle. The floor where the drivers feet rest right underneath the brake pedal and gas pedal bent up a few inches and is almost touching the pedal. Pieces of the driveshaft flew out all over the highway and could have injured or killed someone else if it wasn-€™t early AM when roads were empty. Dash cam footage shows the moment it happened, it felt and looks like I hit a land mine. Front differential needs complete replacement, there is a hole in my frame and much more was damaged due to this. Towed into dealer and manufacturer denied warranty claim. Arbitration determined it was a warrantable item and a lemon but the manufacturer still refuses to do anything about it except repurchase the vehicle at a discounted price. Very scary.

Truck lost throttle response at about 50mph. Coasted to a stop on the side of the road and as soon as it stopped the truck shut down and wouldn-€™t restart. Check engine light came on and warning message read something along the lines of -€œexhaust system service required see dealer-€ After researching these symptoms and warning message, I believe this to be a fuel pump failure. I was able to safely get my truck off the road, but I can easily see how this could be a safety concern depending on traffic. Truck will go to the dealership tomorrow.

This vehicle (2019 Ram 3500 diesel) is effected by Chrysler star case S2018000008 which causes engine surging under load or during acceleration. This surging can cause a loss of control in winter conditions (snow/ice). Additional epa concern being the engine light stays on which hides any emissions equipment failures. To date Chrysler has not been able to provide an eta for the needed engine control software fix needed.

I have a 2019 Ram 3500 with the 6.7L cummins engine and aisin transmission. The truck currently has 9255 miles on it. Soon after purchase, I noticed several issues with the transmission. Issue #1 was a hesitation or lerching at certain mph (35-40). I took it into a local dealer for diagnosis and they determined that there was a tsb(technical service bulletin) that the transmission control module needed updated. That service was performed but did not rectify the hesitation and lerching. Round 2 at a different dealer with the same issues and the different dealer performed a "dealer quick learn" basically wiping the computer clean and relearning my driving style. To this date, transmission still acts the same. Recently on 4 occasions, I've notice a severe lag when entering the high from a stopped position. If I'm entering the highway either from a stop sign, especially on an incline, the transmission slips before the transmission catches and there is no acceleration until the turbo spools up enough. Same goes for passing or making an evasive action to avoid. Extreme lag in the throttle for at least 2-3 seconds before the truck responds. I'm sure that this in not your first complaint with this type of vehicle and it is very unsafe to say the least. I am requesting NHTSA to look into this matter and similar complaints

While driving on the highway the check engine came on when the transmission would not shift on the last two gears truck would go to 2500 to 3000 RPM's until it would shift but felt as if it was on neutral during the time. As this situation is extremely dangerous because this truck is used to haul a 3 car trailer. The truck has been to (kunes country Dodge dealership in sterling il) and they have yet to fix the problem only saying that there is a recall but once the truck is driven again the same problem persist. I will be taking the truck another dealership to see if they can fix the problem.

I have a 2019 Ram 3500 truck with the high output 400hp engine and the 'heavy duty' aisin transmission. I am having problems with the transmission. While driving in mountainous terrain at slow speed (5 to 10 mph) the transmission seems to shift into neutral, engine will rev up to 2000 to 2500 RPM for a few seconds and then slam into gear, creating a safety hazard. This happens on a continual basis. A few times, I have stopped at an intersection on a hill, when attempting to take off and turn into traffic, the truck will get partially into the road when the transmission seems to shift into neutral, slows down while the engine revs to 2000 to 2500 RPM (while traffic keeps coming at you) and finally slams into gear and starts moving again. The nature of the issue is creating a life threatening situation. When you are on a hill and stop, upon removing your foot from the brake to resume travel up the hill, the truck will roll backwards, after rolling a short distance the transmission will slam into gear causing the engine to stall. As the engine dies, there is a complete loss of braking and steering, leading to more life threatening situations; as you are rolling backwards with little to no brakes or steering. My area has a lot of steep grades that we have to drive on a regular basis. I have taken the lemon to the dealer for repair many times. My initial complaint and dealer visit was at approximately 3,500 miles. There have been multiple firmware updates, with no change in the behavior. Another attempt was changing the transmission internals, no change in the behavior. Another trip involved adding a recorder to log the behavior to send to manufacturer.. the last time, I was told there is nothing else to be done. A case has been opened with Ram, which has responded it is operating within the design limits and they will not do anything else.
