I never had an issue with the airbag light until GM dealer did the recall ignition work.
I have taken the car back and the dealer and GM both state that it is not their issue and I should pay for diagnosing and repair/fix. I had a Pontiac a few years ago where both airbags exploded within hours of each other for no reason.
My issue is that this has now surfaced after they did the ignition work. The airbags are directly linked to the ignition switch therefore I think GM should be responsible for the repair of this issue. Not wait for a death.
