The contact owns a 2010 Toyota Scion Xd. The contact stated that while making a left turn at approximately 15 mph, another vehicle crashed into the contact causing the contact to lose control of the vehicle. The contact crashed into a traffic sign and the air bags did not deploy. A police report was filed. The driver sustained injuries to the spine and back. The passenger sustained injuries to the knees, the back and neck. They both received medical attention. The vehicle was destroyed. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure.
