No remedy for Subaru Impreza recall WRG22. THE HEADLIGHT RECALL WAS ISSUED IN AUGUST OF 2022 AND SUBARA DOES NOT HAVE THE PART(S). EMAIL FROM SUBARU OF AMERICA ON 3/3/2023 Dear XXXX XXXXXX: Thank you for contacting Subaru. Please continue to work with your Subaru Retailer about the WRG22 recall and part number. We do not have the approximate date when the parts will be available. That information is provided from the manufacturer and then transmitted to our Subaru Retailers. We do not have the number of parts for the headlights that is required for the vehicles affected by the recall. Your Subaru Retailer will be able to provide you with more information about where you stand to receive the part as they begin to arrive at the Subaru Retailers. Subaru of America understands that this and any other recall is extremely important to handle in a timely manner. Parts will ship to retailers once they are available. Sincerely, Rasheeda Subaru of America, Inc. Customer Advocacy Department 1-800-SUBARU3 (1-800-782-2783) Ext.119109

In September 2021, the driver side headlight failed, creating a hazard driving at night. In January 2023, the passenger side headlight failed, creating the same hazard. The dealer reviewed both issues and confirmed the ENTIRE headlight assembly has failed in both cases, requiring a full replacement of the assembly (not just a single headlight bulb). There were no warning signals - the car warning system did let us know in each case the headlights failed.
