problem #3

Oct 012015

Outback Limited 3.6r V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 100 miles

Car has a chugging feeling..almost like tires are out of round. Took in for routine oil change and reported issue..was put on an alignment machine and told nothing wrong. Took to another Dealer for routine oil change and reported concern and Techs drove and decided along with Corporate Techs it was a drive shaft issue. A new drive shaft was installed and test driven only to discover the issue was still there. New drive shaft was removed and original replaced. Was told to take to the Dealer we purchased and let them figure it out. We are now waiting to get in to that Dealers Shop to see if they along with Subaru Corp can resolve the issue.

Outback 6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 3,512 miles

The vehicle surges from 10-20 mph for about the first two miles driven without having your foot on the accelerator. The dealer claims they reprogrammed the system, but this is normal, and to let it warm up for several minutes before driving. Unacceptable, if this is the best solution I will never buy this brand vehicle again.

Dec 152015

Outback Limited 3.6r

  • CVT transmission
  • 2,000 miles

Upon cold start engine goes to fast idle which is normal. Then 30 to 45 seconds later it surges like I had hit the gas hard. The car can move 5 to 10 feet before I can react.
