problem #2

Feb 022016

Camry

  • Automatic transmission
  • 115,000 miles

Both front doors no longer unlock by using the remote. I have to manually unlock the driver's side door with my key and then reach over the passenger side door to unlock it with my finger. I took the vehicle to the Toyota dealership and they told me it needs a new motor and it would cost at least $650 to have it fixed. Needless to say, I didn't fix the darn thing.

Camry LE 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 75,000 miles

I know that this problem is occurring too often for this not to be a recall. This car is not old and for all 4 door locks not to work, this is crazy and the price for each actuator is even worse
