Camry SE 2.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 2 miles

The seats are way too stiff. Very uncomfortable for longer run (more than 30 minutes). I think there is not enough padding. Anyway, my 3 previous camry were not made this way and were very comfortable. Also, the material used is of poorer quality. It stains easily (with drops of water) and are much more difficult to clean. I can see that the camry price stays about the same, but the quality is getting lower and lower.

Camry LS 2.5L V4

Just bought a Toyota Camry and it is almost undriveable because of the driver seat. When I test drove for a couple of minutes I focused on the engine and didn't even think about the seats. They were a little stiff, but nothing to complain about. When I started driving the car to work, a 15 minute commute, my back was completely sore. I had to crawl out of the car. I noticed it was only after driving in the car did my lower back begin to ache. I tried adjusting the seats as much as I could but nothing worked. I have tried pillows, sponges, and a back rest that has relived some of the pain, but I can not believe I paid for a brand new car and it's literally undriveable. I've had it for a week, and I don't even want to drive it anymore. I've sat in hard metal seats at a restaurant, and they are more comfortable than the driver seat in that car. I contacted the dealer about removing the seat and that I would pay extra to get a different seat, but they couldn't. They suggested going to an auto upholster to add more padding. I don't know, I wouldn't recommend this car to anyone because of the seats. The lower part of the seat pushes too much on the lower back area, and the headrest is ridiculous, it sticks to far forward. Thank god I'm 5'2" and that's not a problem for me. Well I've said my piece.

THE PASSENGER SEAT HURTS MY BUTT BIG TIME!! MY WIFE DRIVES MOST OF THE TIME SINCE I AM VISUALLY IMPAIRED ... ON THE TEST RIDE OF 3 MILES IT DID NOT BOTHER ME AT ALL, IN FACT I LOVED THE CAR!! BUT ONCE WE BOUGHT IT AND DROVE IT HOME 7 MILES MY BUTT WAS KILLING ME. I AM 6'1 AND 280LBS SO I AM BIG GUY BUT I HAVE NEVER HAD A CAR SEAT HURT ME LIKE THIS ONE.

I BROUGHT THE CAR BACK AND TALKED TO MY SALESMAN AND HE HAD ME TALK TO THE SERVICE WRITER AND HE LOOKED AT IT AND SAID THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH IT AND THAT'S ALL HE CAN DO, NOTHING...I ONLY RIDE IN THE CAR ON SATURDAYS FOR APX 20 MINS AND SUNDAYS FOR 30 MINS SO I CAN MOVE AROUND WHEN IT STARTS TO HURT...I JUST THINK THE DEALER SHOULD HAVE HAD ME BRING IT TO AN AUTO INTERIOR SHOP AND GET AN ESTIMATE AND GO FROM THERE, BUT THEY DIDN'T...

OTHER THAN THAT WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE CAR!! ...CAME OUT OF A 14 YEAR OLD LEXUS GS300 WHICH WAS AWESOME INTO THIS BABY!!....LOVE THE TOUCH SCREEN...POWER FROM A 4 CLY ..AND ITS SO QUIET LIKE OUR LEXUS WAS ...MORE ROOM THAN THE OL LEXUS TOO!!...EVEN FOR ME!... HAD TO PRY MY WIFE'S HANDS OFF THE LEXUS'S STEERING WHEEL, BUT ONCE SHE DROVE THE CAMRY, SHE LOVED IT AND TELLS ME SO EVERY WEEK FOR THE LAST 6 WEEKS!!
