brakes failed

I am an owner of a 2016 Toyota Camry. On September 29-30, 2016, my car was involved in a two car collision in the parking lot of Arena Stage in Fairfax, Va. While my spouse and I were sitting in gridlock traffic inching to get out of the parking space going into the exit line for about 15-25 minutes I guess, we heard a loud thump as if a brake was released on a roller coaster and the car suddenly accelerated. I yelled to my spouse to stop the car and he said that he couldn't his foot was all the way on the brake with nowhere to go in the parking lot. The only way it would stop was to hit a person or other cars. We hit one car on the driver side of my Carmry and then it landed into another car still in it's parking space trying to inch into the existing lane.

Moving forward Toyota hired a company called Robert Bosch LLC to investigate what happened. I spoke with Mr. Paul Meade the gentleman that was hired regarding the results. He stated that he was an independent person and he had no gain to performing the results of the report on October 22, 2018. I would like for Fox 5 to look into this matter. This report is not accurate. No person would just run a car into gridlock traffic in a parking lot unless there was a default with a brake.
