Gm, we brought the car in April 2021. In addition to the purchase we have had issues first the car wouldn't start we brought a new one battery. Then we purchase new tires because the ones on the car at purchase was worn in which this car was certified car. Then this morning the car again wouldn't start the gas pedal sticking to floor and seems like fuel pump is acting up or some other issues. I contacted the dealership to have a complete diagnostic at no charge to have repairs fixed at no charge. Or I want a new car. Somethings going on need it to be addressed ASAP. Only had car 5 months

I was driving in my 2017 Toyota Camry with 40,000 miles. I was in the vehicle with my three children and we were going to get something to eat. We were traveling on a 4 lane very busy street doing the speed limit of 30 mph. When all of a sudden the car stopped with no warning or anything.the whole system shut down. I panicked because this almost caused a major accident. My radio keeps rebooting and will not click off. When I turn my left turn signal the car shuts down. I am very disappointed in Toyota and their treatment of my concerns. I am afraid to drive the car because it is not safe to drive and puts me and my children in danger.

2017 Toyota Camry SE. I have had my vehicle into the dealership over 8 times now for problems with the door lock actuators and a clunking sound coming from the brakes that has progressively gotten worse. The door lock actuators would not lock/unlock and on two occurrences while the vehicle was in motion the doors unlocked themselves without being commanded. The car was brought into the dealer 4 times for the issue before the dealership finally replaced 3 of 4 out of safety. I brought this issue to the general manager attention that it should take 4 visits to the dealership to get a safety feature fixed. He told me Toyota is aware of the problem with the door actuators and have known about the problem but the engineers have not came up with a solution to the problem. Clearly its an electrical issue with the vehicle Toyota and the dealership want to acknowledge or address. The car had been in approx. 8 times now for a clunking sound coming from the braking system that has progressively gotten worse. The dealership said Toyota's are known for this. Their solution was to pay for a brake job even though the car is still under the bumper to bumper warranty and they know their is an defect with the system. I have voiced my concerns to Toyota but they refuse to acknowledge the problem or fix the problem.

I was driving in the hov lane on the 170 at 6:30pm. 2/7/2020. There was a sudden white flash and explosion. All of the airbags deployed. I could not see where I was going. All I could see was out my rear window. I tried to steer the car to the side of the freeway but it stopped in the fast lane. All I could see where cars swerving to miss us. I didn't know if my hazards could be seen as I couldn't see my instrument panel. So I pumped the brakes hoping the lights were working and the cars coming could see them. At the same time, I thought the car was on fire because my throat and lungs were burning. My daughter was knocked unconscious. I couldn't move because of the seat belts. When she came to she called 911. The freeway was closed down. The police found no evidence of us being hit or us hitting anything. No report was issued. The airbags had to be cut to get us out. We were trapped in a car that we couldn't tell if it was on fire or not. If it was we wouldn't have gotten out! the car was deemed a total loss. I believe there was a short that may have caused the air bags to go off. Or the airbags just went off on their own. I do not know what the white light or deafening bang was. I can only call it an explosion.

I been experiencing unintended acceleration on the highway maybe about 3 to 5 hours into driving. The car jerks and picks up speed a few miles per hour. As you can see in the attached photo. I have many attempts with the dealer to take a look at it but the problem hasn't been duplicated. The car also has a sluggish take off intermittently and you can hear the transmission dragging at times. I also have video footage and more photos. The vehicle dashboard also gives incorrect speed ratings.

At 4500 miles the normal indicators of "need maintenance soon" appeared on the alert screen. Soon thereafter I had a "check braking system" light come on while I was in reverse mode causing the parking brake sign to remain illuminated even though I let go of the foot brake. Drove to the dealership and was told it was an erroneous alarm. I was also asked if I spent time driving the car with my foot on the brake and on the accelerator simultaneously (which of course I did not). The very next day after driving 20 miles and in park, the alert system showed "check charging system". the manual states this is a serious alert and driving the car with this on could cause permanent damage to the car. I immediately called my local Toyota dealership and they towed the car to the dealership only to tell me after a thorough inspection that nothing was wrong and to only worry if the alert came on while I was driving the car. I have not yet been given an explanation as to why these alarms are continuing to come on. It should be noted that all these alarms have been removed by the dealership but I have to take them seriously at all times.
