The contact owns a 2017 Toyota Corolla. While driving approximately 3 mph, the vehicle failed to stop when the brake pedal was depressed. The contact had to engage the emergency brake to stop the vehicle. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and advised the contact to take the vehicle to the nearest dealer. The vehicle was taken to mojave Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Toyota of barstow (631 main St, barstow, ca 92311, 760-256-3502) where it was diagnosed that the master cylinder needed to be replaced. The technician ordered the parts, but the vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 45,000. The VIN was not provided.
