defective windshield defective windshield

After having the factory windshield replaced due to multiple waves in the windshield, they replaced with this new one. About a month after having this one installed I received 4 rock pits and one crack in the windshield. I went to my dealer and told them I think something is wrong with the windshield because it is pitting so easily and already has cracked. They dismissed the complaint.

A few weeks later, it was a frosty day and I scraped my windshield with the plastic windshield scraper. After that, I notice it was covered in scratches all over. I went back to the dealer to say this is unacceptable that its scratching due to plastic. They said it probably was dirty and that's why it scratched. I told them I can clean it and show them how easily it scratches (which they were not interested to see).

They told me they cant help me and I have to call Toyota Canada which I did. When I spoke to them they said they cant help me because I purchased the car 4 months ago. I said that they only replaced this windshield less than 2 months ago but she said it doesn't matter, I will need to pay to replace it because its not covered. I asked how is this my fault that they put in some crappy defective windshield?? Why should I be responsible due to their error? I can understand rock chips etc, but this is a plastic scraper that made these scratches and I can prove it. She said she will have a manager call me in 10 business days to discuss.
