problem #2

Aug 012015

FJ Cruiser

  • Automatic transmission
  • 100,000 miles

The check engine light comes on along with the 3 lights under it and it's putting out code p0333 which is knocking sensor #2. I've had a mechanic look at this issue and if the sensor needs to be replaced, it could be over a $1000 because of the labor involved but if it's just a wire that's an easy to fix and it could be a lot cheaper. I haven't decided what to do yet.

problem #1

Dec 282012

FJ Cruiser 4.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 95,000 miles

Initially noticed no voltage on meter noted and battery light came on. Changed Alternator and it appeared to fix the problem but then drove on the interstate wipers went on themselves, windows went down and then the radio went on by itself. Pushed to get home but after 10 miles it totally shut down and we had to be towed home. WTH???? Still not running after purchasing new battery ...not sure what step to take now.
