FJ Cruiser 6-cyl

  • 60,000 miles
2007 Fj cruiser with 60,000 blew a head gasket. There is major engine damage from over heating. Temp gauge never read that the car was over heating or that there were any engine problems. Also at a red light the car switched gears and a moment later switched back.it lurched forward with a big thump. I was at a full stop with my foot on the brake luckily!

FJ Cruiser

The Toyota Fj cruiser develops bulges in the engine bay over time with normal driving. These are in the crumple zones and eventually rip. Toyota fails to fix this to spite having hundreds of documented cases. Mine is one of them. www.fjcruiserforums.com/forums/Toyota-fj-cruiser-polls/37556-do-you-have-inner-fender-bulges-cracking.html.
