entune system stopped working

Bought the Toyota Prius Persona edition on 2015-05-23. One year later, mid June 2016, the Entune (radio / navigation / Bluetooth etc.) stopped working. The system came on and went off from time to time. Once it is one, only radio and rear view work. Pressing the app button resulted "system not installed". Brought to the original dealership three times. Could not find out why.

After the fourth visit, the dealership said it contacted Toyota head quarter. The investigation showed the radio system serial number did not match the original one. So it looks like the system was swapped into a lower version without navigation / blue tooth. It was possibly due to theft. However, nothing was missing in the car. And from the appearance, it did not look like someone got into the car and changed the system. The dealership said it took 20 min for an experienced man to change the system. I guess I must accept this explanation. The dealership technician said the original model was 8680447070. But the new one is 8614047060, which has only radio function (no navigation, blue tooth, etc.) I confirmed with dealership that the one currently in the car did not have navigation (GPS) system.

However, this summer, in the morning of 2018-07-08, the navigation worked. The GPS system worked. The photo I uploaded is the proof, taken by a friend of mine in the car while we drove for a hike. But it only worked once. After I turned off the car and restarted, there was no GPS any more.During that morning, I was 100% sure that nobody got into my care and replaced the lower version of radio system with a fancy one or vice versa.

So how could a radio system with no navigation system could show navigation screen? I went to another Toyota service center(different from the first one of course) and asked them to check the radio system model number. The person said he would charge me $200. I said fine. However, later, he told me he found my record at Toyota showing the current radio system model number. So he refused to check. I told the mystery and said please just check the model number. The person was very angry somehow and refused to check.

That is a true mystery. I believe Toyota's Entune system fails to work in my car, not due to swap. I don't think it was swapped. I will ask another service shop (not Toyota's) to check again.
