Appears to be a common problem with greater frequency than normal windshield failure and related only to the Prius automobiles from 2016 onwards with nothing in advertising relied upon to purchase the vehicle or in dealing with the dealership to give an indication that this is a repetitive and costly problem which would influence purchase of the vehicle. This is the third Prius owned (2007 and 2013 preceded it).
